Antimon (V)-sulfid (auch Goldschwefel genannt) ist ein feines, orangerotes, geruch- und geschmackloses Pulver. Es ist unlöslich in Wasser und Weingeist, löslich in Kalilauge und Ammoniumsulfidlösungen. In Salzsäure löst es sich unter Abscheidung von Schwefel und Entwickelung von Schwefelwasserstoff als Antimontrichlorid.
